Betty K. Cooper
Betty Helps people at every level of business become more powerful, effective speakers through her individual coaching, her workshops and seminars and her talks to businesses and organizations.
She has worked in the communicating field for over thirty-five years. She is recognized as one of Canada's leading communications specialists and successfully operates her own Calgary-based communicating business.
Her professional background includes five years as a Daily TV host; eight years as a daily CBC Radio commentator; two years as Executive Producer CBC Radio, Calgary. In this capacity she brought Talk Radio to Calgary. She produced hundreds of documentaries, interviews, and programs, for local, regional, national and international broadcast.
She then moved to Mount Royal College where she redesigned the Broadcasting Program. Her efforts turned this department into one of the most successful in Canada.
Since returning to the private sector, her communication capabilities have established her as one of the top coaches and workshop facilitators and speakers in North America. Her clients embrace such diversified organizations as Insurance, Government, Petroleum, Power Generation, Health and Education. She coaches senior personnel in a variety of disciplines ranging from the Petroleum Industry Health Organizations Educational leaders and political people. This enables people with something important to say to be able to say it effectively.
Her writing credits include magazine and newspaper articles, training film scripts, educational radio and television scripts, speeches, workbooks to augment her many communicating courses. Her first book "Speak with Power" is a Canadian Best Seller, her second book "Your PipeLine To Pow!-R-Ful Presentations" was commissioned by TransCanada PipeLines Ltd for use of all their employees throughout the world. This book will be available publicly later this year.
